About Plate Xpectations

Owner Liam Corbett has been a professional chef for over 14 years and his experience has ranged over many continents beyond the UK including Africa, Asia and Australia. His influences come from the many places he has enjoyed working at - whether it be the fast and furious kitchens of the Sydney Opera House, the pressure of working alongside the TV Celebrity Chefs at national exhibitions or the challenge of running a restaurant with sporadic electricity in the heart of Goa.

So if you'd like a more global slant to your themed buffet, then Liam is very well placed to help you design something a little bit different for your guests.

Plate Xpectations is all about three things:

We don't attempt to be the biggest or to offer the most services - what we do promise is that as well as providing you with a delicious pig roast, or a sumptuous barbecue, we will also remember the attention to detail, the personal touches. We know what we're good at and we do it well.

Numerous customers come back time and time again saying we always go "one step beyond" - whether it's balloons for a kiddie's garden party or Hawaii outfits for all the chefs at a themed Corporate Anniversary Party for John Lewis We don't charge extra, we just enjoy creating the right ambience to make your event a success. So whatever it is - just ask and we'll do our best to accommodate!

Using the 'Cotswold Roaster' Pig Roast or barbecue, and only the finest and fresh ingredients, Liam and his team of chefs will ensure your Pig Roast or Barbecue event is a fabulous success and the talk of all your guests for a long time to come.

"And just so you know for your peace of mind we have full Public Liability Insurance, all our chefs are fully qualified and hold Food & Hygiene Certificates and our premises are registered with Rugby Borough Council for Environmental Health & Safety."
